Why owners choose it

See out again

Hazy rear glass is a safety issue at night; removal fixes the view.

The purple goes

And with it, the look of a ten-year-old install.

Clean glass for new film

Proper adhesive removal is why the next tint lasts.

Defroster lines intact

Steam and patience protect the grid instead of scraping it.

How it goes at the shop

  1. Inspect film condition and glass, flagging pre-existing damage first.
  2. Steam and peel; adhesive softened, never scratched.
  3. Glass polished clear and inspected against light.
  4. Re-tint option quoted on the spot, installed same visit if you say go.

Good fit for

  • Used-car buyers inheriting old film
  • Cars showing purple or bubbles
  • Fleets being rebranded or de-badged
  • Sellers prepping a clean windshield-to-tailgate photo set

After removal

If you re-tint, standard curing care applies and we hand it over in writing. If you go bare glass, there is nothing to baby — just cleaner sightlines.

Questions we hear

Will removal damage my defroster lines?

We use steam and defroster-safe technique specifically to protect them, and we photograph pre-existing damage before we start so nobody guesses later.

Can you re-tint the same day?

Usually yes — removal plus new film in one visit is one of our most common jobs.

Why did my old film turn purple?

Dyed films degrade under UV. The carbon and ceramic tiers we install are colour-stable by construction.
